NOCT2 has opened! Welcome to the Second Nuzlocke OCTNuzlocke-Challenge
What's NOCT2 gonna be? Well, here's a teaser...
Every year, the peninsula city of Galida hosts a tournament that draws trainers from far and wide, with a spectacular stadium like those seen usually only in League competitions like Indigo Plateau and Pummelo Island that can change terrain frequently. Not surprisingly, the organizers of the Galida Summer Open have quite a bit of prize money to distribute each year - and the tournament experience is great for all trainers who show up. The accommodations are lavish, the food and ceremonies are amazing, and all transportation is covered.
Trainers come in by the busloads for a shot at the top four in the main tournament, especially since the top two also get "badges" that can be used to join League tournaments, as does the winner of the Open's side tournament. The bus route is quite scenic, running up the peninsul

EDIT: the apps have been UPDATED so that the logos are not longer as penetrating (noticed that once people started adding their characters, the logo was more eye catching than them and thats a no)
if you already moved your character over before, dont feel rushed to update them, but it would be recommended
:iconkieungao: new year, new applications
current members, we need you to move your characters onto these new forms! you have until mid-end of February to do this (it does not take much effort or time to simply copy paste the app art and description) so i expect this wont be a difficult task. (unless you dont hav
List of JobsIf a job gets too full, it will close.Poke-Apocalypse
-Scavengers = Collect supplies (food, clothes, weapons, etc) from around the city. Unlike thieves, they rarely steal their finds. Some scavengers may have different specialties. (Example: Some scavengers are better connected to cooks, therefore, scavenge food more often, and others are connected to weapon makers, therefore, scavenge more metal scraps and such.) There are day time scavengers and night time scavengers, depending on personal preference, skill, and ability.
-Guards = The physically stronger individuals. Protect the base(s) and keep everyone safe. They are usually patrolling boarders and walls, rarely venturing too far from base when on duty. Their schedules are often inconsistent, but they can switch out with another Guard when rest or health care is needed.
-Scouts = Generally faster than guards. They act as lookouts and are good at long range attacks. They scout areas that may be potentially new bases
Group events! With the holiday season already upon us, I think it's time for us to come together as a community and have some fun events, yes? I've got three for ya!Nuzlocke-Challenge
1) Hatchmons tournament
Yes, hatchmons! Pokemon freshly hatched from their eggs. (I had a concert for my video game orchestra yesterday and a few of us had the idea to battle with a similar ruleset to this, so this is relatively spontaneous! It was so much fun I had to share.) I want to run this similar to the monotype tournament we had a while back, but more lax in terms of who battles who while more strict in terms of battle windows (to make sure battles actually get done). I'm not anticipating this being a big tournament, but I thought it would be a fun ruleset to share for people to try out!
Like the monotype tournament, this will be played on Pokemon Showdown.
*You may only have Pokemon that can be hatched from an egg through regular breeding - legendaries and evolved Pokemon are not allowe
